Okay, call me absurdly geeky, but I'm really looking forward to Penguicon, a Linux and Sci-Fi convention here in Detroit. It's only $40 to pre register (by April 8th). It's taking place April 22-24 at the Detroit Sheraton Hotel in Novi. The only crappy part is, I'm going to a different convention on the 15-17th, so I will not be able to make both probably. For one, that's a lotta money for a broken soul like myself... and two, at some point this month I should be able to spend a weekend with my kids. Oh well, I'm sure someone I know will end up there, and give me a full report.
