I think that Christmas doesn't so much get less exciting with age, but the excitement associated with Christmas is inversely proportionate with the amount of money one has... In less nerdy-speak, Christmas sucks when you're broke. Just knowing that there's all this great stuff out there that people would like, but you can't get any of it for them if you want a place to live at the end of the month... it's a bummer... que serra... Things are good. Still haven't heard back about my GI Bill, so I have to call them and prostrate myself before the mighty deity that is the US Government once again... hopefully they lube up this time... it's just common courtesy. I'd love to continue to be my witty self, but I have two little folks here that are expecting a dinner out for their exceptionally good progress reports... so peace.
