Well, she ended up getting the kids last night. It took alot of struggle and a bit of a pain in the butt, but she ended up doing what was needed. I mean, I didn't think knowing her address and stuff so I'd know where the kids were staying was unreasonable, and I guess, in the end, she didn't think so either.. ultimately. Now I'm just hoping she can do the right thing, and take good care of them for a night. For me, this is kind of a trial run for future visits. This will be the litmus test. All the same, I'm still awfully scared of the outcome. On the plus side, I've gotten no calls so far saying they're hospitalized or abandoned, so that's a good sign. I go pick them up in a couple of hours, so we'll see.
